Commerce associations in Iran have almost a 130-year history. Chamber of Trade was established in 1926. In 1941 and after the passage of a new law, the private sector’s chamber changed its name to Chamber of Commerce.

After that and in 1962, the Law to establish the Chamber of Industries and Mines was passed. In 1963, Chamber of Industries and Mines opened and in 1969 these two chambers were merged and Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines was founded.  In 2011, after the Law of Improving the Business Landscape was approved, “Agriculture” was added to the name of the Chamber and thus he private sector’s Parliament changed its name to Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
