Karaj, June 1, IRNA – Head of Alborz Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture announced a primary agreement with a Russian company to commission the road construction machinery and fork lift production line in Alborz province.
Rahim Banamolaei who is currently in Russia at the head of a 30-people trade delegation told IRNA on telephone on Wednesday that the company is operating in Ivanovo province is considered one the main centers of the industry in the country.
Referring to the import of carbon raw materials to Iran, he said that the materials were used to import to the country via Turkmenistan which will be imported directly afterwards following the talks held earlier.
Benamolaei stressed the need for increasing the number of Iranian banks' branches in Russia and using Exports Guarantee Fund for promoting cooperation in the field, saying that banking problems hinder development of Iran-Russia commercial ties.
He further noted that Russia is interested to import garden products and vegetables from Iran and grounds for this can prepared through proper planning.
Iran can gain a remarkable share of imports through better recognition of the Russian markets, he said, noting that the country produces 35 percent of its needs domestically and imports the rest from foreign states.
