Karaj, Alborz prov., May 31, IRNA - Member of the presiding board of Alborz Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture said that a 24-member agricultural delegation from Ukraine arrived in Alborz.
Bita Bayat told IRNA on Tuesday that Ukrainian delegation headed by deputy head of Kiev Chamber of Commerce are in Alborz province to get familiarized with its agricultural capacities.
Referring to the fact that Alborz is regarded as a scientific agricultural hub, she reiterated that the Ukrainian delegation is scheduled to visit research and agricultural centers of the province.
He added that the delegation consisted of officials and experts in food firms, agricultural machinery, livestock and poultry, transportation and logistics, wood industry and mineral products.
She noted that delegations from Ukraine, Bosnia, Italy, Croatia, Poland, France, Estonia, Taiwan, Portugal and China have taken trips to Alborz province in the post-sanction era.
With nearly 3,500 big and small production units, Alborz province is an industrial hub in the country and part of its products are exported to foreign countries.
