AgroExpoSiberia 2013: International meeting point for the Siberian agriculture
After a successful start with more than 100 exhibitors from 13 countries, the AgroExpoSiberia will be held this year for the second time from October 29th to November 1st.
AgroExpoSiberia is the most important international forum for the Siberian agricultural market. Beside the official German and French pavilions, companies from Italy, Spain, Finland, the Netherlands, Austria, Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and Belarus will take part in the exhibition.
The farming region of Novosibirsk, Altai, and Omsk is the center of the Siberian agriculture and plays an important role in the whole Russian farm sector. Nearly 20% of Russia’s acreage lies in Siberia and 18% of Russia’s grain is harvested in this region. Siberia is as well in terms of cattle husbandry and milk production an essential pillar of the Russian agriculture.
The regional government supports the modernization and expansion of the agricultural and food processing sector which offers new export opportunities for European companies.
AgroExpoSiberia is organized by IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH and Siberia Expo. The regional administration of Novosibirsk and the German Agricultural Society (DLG e.V.) support the exhibition. The trade fair represents the whole range of agriculture, such as agricultural machinery, cultivation, grain and mill technologies, seed breeding, animal husbandry as well as milk and meat production.
