Article 5.The duties and authorities of the ICCIM are as follows:
A. Creating coordination and cooperation among the businessmen, industrial, mineral, and agricultural entrepreneurs in enforcing the related laws and current regulations of the country.
B. offering consultive opinions to the Legislative, Judiciary and Executive powers regarding the economic issues such as commerce, industry, mining, and etc.
C. Cooperation with the executive agencies and other concerned authorities to execute the laws and rules relating to the chamber.
D.Communication with the chambers of other countries and establishing Joint Chambers and commissions with them based on the strategic policies of the IR of Iran.
E.Holding specialized and commercial exhibitions inside and outside the country with the approval of the Ministry of Commerce and participation in the seminars and conferences relating to the chamber's commercial,industrial,mineral and agricultural activities in the framework of the policies of the IR of Iran.
F.Trying to survey the foreign markets for Iranian export goods and encouraging and helping the related entities to participate in the commercial fairs inside and outside the country.
G.Encouraging domestic investment in production affairs, especially production of export goods with competitive advantage.
H.Endeavoring to survey and arbitrate the national and international issues which may arise between the members or other applicants through the establishment of the Iran Chamber Arbitration Center on the basis of an article of association which will be prepared by the judiciary Power and shall be approved by the Islamic Consultative Assembly(Majlis).
I. To create and manages the economic statistics and Information Center for completing the tasks and activities of the chamber.
J.Issuing membership cards in accordance with the by-law of the Iran Chamber to complete the documents required for issuance of commercial cards.
K.Establishing export and import unions and manufacturing syndicates in the areas of commercial, industrial, mineral, and services activities
According to the relevant regulations.
L.Holding applied courses in commercial, industrial, mines and services based on the national requirements.
M. Supply, issuance, settlement and certification of documents which are assigned to the Iran chamber by virtue of international rules, in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce.
N.Establishing joint chambers with friendly countries in coordination with the ministries of Commerce and Foreign Affairs.
